Neuroncology:

Surgery for brain tumors and spinal cord tumors. Among several types of tumors, the team of surgeons of Neurochirurgie has wide experience in surgeries for brain and spinal cord tumors, such as gliomas, meningiomas, vestibular and spinal neurinomas, pituitary tumors and metastases.

Where indicated, we use neuronavigation systems.

Interventional Neuroradiology:

Endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms (several techniques).

Embolization of cerebral arteriovenous and spinal cord malformations, and arteriovenous fistulas of the brain and the spinal cord.

Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke.

Angioplasty of carotid and vertebral artery stenosis (causes of stroke) Endovascular embolization of head and neck tumors.

Diagnostic angiography (brain, spinal cord, limbs, aorta) and phlebography.

Selective petrosal sinus sampling by catheterization (tool for the diagnosis of Cushing’s syndrome).

Spine Disorders:

Surgery for cervical or lumbar disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, fractures, syringomyelia and Chiari malformation.

Where indicated, we use intraoperative nerve monitoring.

Vascular Neurosurgery:

Surgical treatment of cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations.
